Free Flo was created by four college students with a vision to change the world, by first

changing their city. Memphis is one of the poorest cities in the country with over 14% of families living in

poverty. Many of these women will never get treatment for UTI’s, never have a Pap-Smear or vaginal

exam. They also won’t have remedies for the physical pain of a menstrual cycle such as heating pads or

aspirin. With this in mind, we knew that women deserved better treatment even if they can’t afford it.
